Da Vinci Design is offering an amazing opportunity for students to receive 1 college credit through El Camino during Spring semester of 2018. We recently informed students about the opportunity and we wanted to make sure parents were informed so they could talk to their child at home about this unique opportunity.
1. Why take it?
3. You will have to complete this application process and one extra, quality drawing during Exhibition to meet the honors requirements.
4. You must meet the close deadlines to be enrolled. The deadline for the drawing is Tuesday 2/6/18 and the deadline for the El Camino application is Wednesday 2/7/18.
The requirements to apply are as follows:Amusement Park Due: Monday 2/5 or Tuesday 2/6

Makerfaire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Makerfaire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.
We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family - friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Expectations: Students are expected to attend the Makerfaire for at least 30 minutes. Students should be standing at their gear display and teaching the audience about their gears. Students will sign in and sign out at the booth. Students will get service hours for the time they are at the Faire. Students are also encouraged to walk around and learn from the other booths at the Makerfaire.
*If a student cannot attend the faire, I expect an email from their parents excusing them from attending the faire.
Families: We look forward to seeing you during Exhibition Night! Join us from 6 - 8 pm. The 9th graders are working hard on their projects.
Students: Click HERE to submit the link to your Exhibition Powerpoint.
